When we finally arrived in Beijing, we were already late for our appointment to meet our new daughter, so we hopped in a van for the two-hour ride to Langfang. We got lost, drove around a lot, stopped at a most unlikely spot (which turned out to be the correct one), went inside-- AND THERE SHE WAS. It was a really surreal moment, having seen so many pictures and videos, but there was our "Queen of the Second Floor" as her house parents called her.

In the back left is Christine, one-quarter of the fabulous TIANJIN TWO. She and her husband, Jay, were great travel companions! In the tan dress is Elisa Haller, the house mother for the House of Joy where Olivia grew up.
