A Milestone

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, for the FIRST time since returning from China we left Livi with people other than her grandparents! Livi went to stay with some dear, old friends of ours for the evening -- they have two boys, grades two and four, who ADORE Olivia and chose to stay home and play with her rather than go to the movies! Livi had the BEST time!

Naturally, mom and dad here were concerned she'd cry and the Curries would never want to watch her again, but she was the happiest little girl! (Above a picture of the grin she had on her face a) when we left for dinner; b) reportedly throughout the evening; c) when we came to get her; d) for an hour after we got home. I'm not sure she wouldn't have stayed there forever if we let her!
